Just a blessed post..

I am so happy that I decided to choose the topic of stuttering for my Lit. review topic. Not only has stuttering been a main topic in many classes lately (especially with myself and the lit. review), but I feel that I have learned so much through research that I did not even consider before, and I have seen so many views and ideas that people who stutter have shared. The article "Did I Stutter?" and the one from "The Washington Post" that we read for Dr. Dalton's class were also so intriguing, and helped me to really put myself in the shoes of one who stutters as best as possible. I feel blessed to be in this major, and to be able to someday work with children to help them understand, come to terms with, and hopefully improve their fluency and speech disorders.

  1. I've actually really enjoyed learning about stuttering too! It's very different than what I think most people think of it as. That's really cool and not to mention REALLY LUCKY that that's your research topic for Klein! Ha!
